Dedicated in loving memory of Ted

Ted was a was a gentle, huge hearted, generous, intelligent, witty and caring man with many talents and hidden depths.  He was a busy man who always put family, friends and charity first.  He was a member of so many societies including a number of BP retirement Groups. the U3a, IMechE, Little Chalfont Community Association, Batti Wallahs, Victoria Cross Society, and an active member of the community supporting the Nature Park, Methodist Church and Buckinghamshire Railway Centre (and many more besides).

Ted always said "we all have to go sometime"; and his wife Sue will tell you, Ted died with engineering precision; showered in affection from us all as he peacefully slipped away, during the day, in the summer holidays, surrounded by those he loved.  He died of Bowel Cancer, and in his final months he was supported by Rennie Grove Hospice.  Their support, helped him to remain at home close to family and friends.
